A platform created for people who truly love specialty coffee
SpecialtyCoffee.md was born from a simple idea: to drink great coffee and know where it comes from. Not from an anonymous shelf, not from a bag without a story — but from people who roasted it with care and intention.
Moldova may be a small country, but there are people here who take coffee seriously. Roasters who monitor temperature curves down to the degree. Baristas who can explain the difference between an Ethiopian Guji and a Colombian Huila. And customers who want more than just “strong coffee.”
We created this platform to bring them together — and to make specialty coffee accessible beyond Chișinău.
Our very first partner, the one we started this journey with, is Are Roast Coffee — a Moldovan roastery that shares the same philosophy with us: every batch matters, and every cup should be honest.
Together with them, we are opening this store — and continuing to search for roasters who think the same way.
